Committee Meeting Info for March:
  • Accreditation Committee will meet via conference call on Monday, March 15th at 1pm.
  • Epi Committee will not meet in March. There will be a conference call meeting on April 13th.
  • Environmental Health Committee will meet Wednesday, March 17th at 1pm in the Cardinal Room. Agenda will probably include budget issues and additional issues about VOCs.
  • Policy and Planning Committee will not meet in March. For those who are interested, the Public Health Improvement Plan Task Force is meeting the afternoon of March 17th on the Dix Campus.
  • Preparedness Committee will meet Wednesday, March 17th at 2pm in the Cardinal Room. Agenda will include H1N1 update, NC PERRC update, Preparedness Assessment workgroup recommendations, and Preparedness strategic planning.
  • Technology Committee will meet Wednesday, March 17th from 10am to 12pm in the Cardinal Room. Call-in number also available at 919-733-2429. Agenda items include: HIS Update and Netsmart Presentation and Discussion. See the February minutes and the Next Step PHITSC notes.

The American Public Health Association organizes National Public Health Week and develops a national campaign to educate the public, policy-makers and practitioners about issues related to that year’s theme.
